Fallout 76 rubber farming gets easy with a Grafton High, Camden Park, and Tyler County loop. Grab balls first, then server-hop for resets.
rubber is the junk I somehow always run out of right after I swear I have enough, and ngl the best farm isn't some big brain route, it's just stealing every ball in Appalachia. I was low after repairing armor and messing with shotgun mods, ended up grabbing some spare caps/items through EZNPC when I didn't feel like vendor hopping forever, then tested the actual junk loop myself. Grafton High is still stupid good on the current patch. Like, way better than most random “rubber farm” spots people keep posting.
Grafton gym is still the play
I ran Grafton High School three times on a private world and the gym carried the whole thing. Basketballs, kickballs, deflated kickballs, all over the floor and in those bins. Most of them scrap for 2 or 3 rubber, which adds up fast when there's 20-ish sitting in one room. Fire extinguishers are nice too at around 3 rubber, but they're heavy as hell, so don't get greedy unless you know where you're scrapping.
My lazy route when I need a pile
What I've been doing is Grafton High first, Camden Park second, then Tyler County Fairgrounds if I'm still short. Camden's Dross Toss area is better than people give it credit for. Check the stalls, hoop game spots, and grab life preservers if you see them. Ohio River Adventures is also decent for life preservers, and weirdly I see players skip those all the time. I don't know if folks just don't tag rubber in search or what, but free rubber is free rubber.
Don't overthink the perk stuff
Scrapper under Intelligence helps, but not in the way some people talk about it. It doesn't magically buff basketball junk, at least not from what I saw. It does help when you're scrapping gear that already has rubber in it, so Mole Miner junk and some armor pieces can pad the stash while you're doing events or farming XP. I haven't tested every armor set, so someone correct me if Trapper or Marine scraps better than I'm thinking.
The annoying part nobody mentions
The respawn isn't just “wait a bit and come back,” which is where I think a lot of newer players get baited. Afaik you need to pick up around 250 other world items before that same junk shows back up for your character. That's why Grafton can look dead if you server hop wrong. Also, bulk rubber at the chemistry station is mostly for selling or stash space, but vendors at Whitespring can sometimes save you if you've got caps and zero patience.
Small tip before you waddle home
Bring weight perks, a scrap kit, or at least know where the closest bench is, because a full gym clear gets chunky fast. If I'm already buying stuff, I'll sometimes grab Fallout 76 Bootle Caps when I'm short and then just buy bulk from vendors instead of doing the slow walk shame tour. Manual farming is still better imo, especially if you need the daily “scrap junk to produce rubber” done quick. Hope this helps, lmk if I missed anything.
